Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a Virtual Interior Design package from Twenty-Eighth Design Studio, LLC (“Designer”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms.
1. VIRTUAL DESIGN SERVICES
Virtual Interior Design is a fully remote design service for the room or space selected at the time of purchase.
Your package includes:
• One private virtual design kickoff
• Personalized design concept and direction
• Space planning
• Curated furniture, décor and/or finish selections appropriate to your project
• Shopping links for selected items
• One consolidated round of revisions
• One final design plan and selection list
Virtual Interior Design does not include in-person site visits, purchasing or procurement on the Client’s behalf, installation, construction management, contractor coordination, or ongoing project management.
Services requested outside of the purchased package may require an additional design fee.
2. CLIENT MEASUREMENTS & PROJECT INFORMATION
Because this service is completed remotely, the Client is responsible for providing accurate measurements, photographs, and other requested information about the space.
Twenty-Eighth Design Studio will develop the design based on the information provided by the Client. The Designer is not responsible for errors, fit issues, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete measurements or information supplied by the Client.
The Client is responsible for verifying critical dimensions, product specifications, and installation requirements before purchasing or installing furnishings, fixtures, or materials.
3. PRIVATE DESIGN KICKOFF
Your package includes one private virtual design kickoff after your completed project questionnaire and requested project information have been received.
Additional meetings or consultations are not included unless otherwise agreed upon and may require an additional fee.
4. REVISIONS
Your package includes one round of revisions following presentation of the initial design.
Revision requests must be provided together as one consolidated list of feedback. The included revision is intended to refine the presented design and does not include creating an entirely new design direction or expanding the original project scope.
Requests for additional revisions, alternative concepts, or services outside of the original scope may require an additional design fee.
5. FINAL DESIGN & SELECTION LIST
Following the included revision, the Designer will provide the Client with one final design plan and selection list.
The final design plan serves as the Client’s guide for independently implementing the design.
Once the final design plan and selection list have been delivered, the Virtual Interior Design service is considered complete.
6. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & PRICING
Furniture, décor, fixtures, finishes, and materials are selected based on their availability and pricing at the time the final selection list is prepared.
Because products are purchased directly by the Client, Twenty-Eighth Design Studio cannot guarantee that an item will remain in stock, that a retailer will continue carrying an item, or that its price will remain the same after the final design is delivered.
If a selected item later becomes unavailable, discontinued, or changes in price, the original selection should be used as a point of reference for the intended style, scale, material, color, and overall design direction.
Replacement sourcing after the final selection list has been delivered is not included in the Virtual Interior Design package and may be available as an additional service.
7. PURCHASING, SHIPPING & RETURNS
The Client is responsible for purchasing all recommended products directly from the applicable retailer or vendor.
The Client is responsible for reviewing product pricing, dimensions, specifications, lead times, shipping costs, and return policies before purchasing.
Twenty-Eighth Design Studio is not the seller of recommended third-party products and is not responsible for retailer or manufacturer delays, damaged items, discontinued products, shipping issues, product defects, returns, exchanges, or changes in pricing or availability.
8. CONTRACTORS & INSTALLATION
Virtual Interior Design does not include construction, installation, or contractor management.
The Client is responsible for hiring and managing any contractors, installers, tradespeople, or other professionals necessary to implement the design.
The Client and/or their hired professionals are responsible for verifying that recommended products, materials, dimensions, and installation methods are appropriate for the conditions of the Client’s home before purchasing or installation.
9. PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
Virtual Interior Design packages are paid in full at the time of purchase.
Once design services have begun, design fees are non-refundable.
If the Client wishes to cancel before design services have begun, the Client should contact Twenty-Eighth Design Studio as soon as possible.
10. COMMUNICATION & PROJECT DELAYS
The Client is responsible for providing requested project information, measurements, and feedback in a timely manner.
Delays in providing requested information or feedback may affect the project timeline.
If the Client becomes unresponsive for an extended period, Twenty-Eighth Design Studio reserves the right to close the project. Restarting an inactive project may require an additional fee.
11. DESIGN OWNERSHIP
All design concepts, plans, layouts, renderings, selection lists, and other design materials created by Twenty-Eighth Design Studio remain the intellectual property of Twenty-Eighth Design Studio, LLC.
The Client may use the final design materials for personal implementation of the project for which they were created.
Design materials may not be reproduced, resold, distributed, or used for another property or commercial purpose without written permission from Twenty-Eighth Design Studio.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By checking the Terms & Conditions box and completing the purchase of a Virtual Interior Design package, the Client acknowledges that they have reviewed, understood, and agree to these Virtual Interior Design Terms & Conditions.
